I spent a lot of time in Skerries, Co Dublin as a child, as did my mother, visiting her uncle Jack who had a grocery shop on the main street. I remember its intriguing back yard that we'd run through to get to the lane that led straight to the sea. And what a sea it was - miles of beach, great swimming places and days of freedom. This A3 print by The Word Bird is chockers with all things present and past from this magical sea side town. It's the only place on the east coast where you can sit and watch the sun set over the sea. Yep, magical.
