The Pigeon House - Dublin Place Names
This rolled A3 word art print by The Word Bird is lined up with the areas, suburbs and towns that make up the city and county of Dublin, Ireland.
The Poolbeg Towers and Pigeon House building is one of the most iconic and welcoming sights as you fly into Dublin airport and has been voted the most loved feature on the Dublin landscape in online polls. The red and white striped towers can be seen from all over Dublin and indeed I can see them from Bray Head when I'm driving north out of Greystones. In this poster I lined up all the place names of Dublin city and county and it is the ideal gift for a Dubliner living at home or living away. It's printed professionally on to A3 archival paper and is so pretty on its blue background. This print by The Word Bird makes a unique Irish gift to send to someone missing their towers.....
It is sold rolled in a tube for ease of posting and is sized to fit IKEA frames and similar.
Framing notes:- The A3 is 420mm x 297 cm. It will fit into any IKEA frame or similar that has an opening of 30x40cm. If you choose one without a mount so that the whole glass is 30 x 40 you will need to trim a little off the top and bottom but there is room on the print to do that without affecting the design. If you choose one that has a mount in it and the mount opening is 30 x 40 you won't need to trim.
There are a few IKEA frames to choose from but these are the links to the Ribba ones
IKEA Ribba 30 x 40 cm https://www.ikea.com/ie/en/p/ribba-frame-black-30378454/ if you trim the top and bottom.
IKEA Ribba 40 x 50cm frame with a mount opening of 29cm x 39 cm without trimming, you can just tape it behind the mount.
