The idea with this print is to go Googling the names to discover the lives and achievements of 140 Irish women from fields such as science, commerce, literature, sport, politics, art, music, philanthropy, theatre and medicine. It's not an exhaustive list by any means, I'd need a good few billboards to fit in all the women who have striven, achieved, contributed, created, invented and made a difference to our social, political and cultural landscape. The quote in green is by Kate O'Brien.
This word art print designed by Susan Brambell is A3 in size and is sold rolled in a tube for ease of worldwide posting. It fits into an IKEA frame or similar.
