Kilkenny is a medieval town in southeast Ireland that used to be Ireland's capital back in the 1600s. The grand Kilkenny Castle impressively stands guard over the magical narrow cobbled streets set out by the banks of the river Nore. It is one of Ireland's most cosmopolitan cities with world renowned festivals, theatre, craft and music. It has charm in abundance and I'd be here all day if I were to start on the great pubs, epic restaurants, the cool shops.....the list would go on and on. If you're from there, I'm jealous. If you haven't been, go. This print is for anyone who loves Kilkenny and is especially suited to someone who might be from there but living elsewhere at the moment. Up the Cats!
