The Voice (The Temple Carrig Transition Year Musical)
The TCG TY students thrilled a packed hall for three sold out nights with this bopping 80s musical extravaganza. Written and directed by the school's assistant principal, Russell Harris, the show follows the career fortunes of a good looking lad who can't sing and a great singer who hasn't the looks wanted by prospective agents. It's a fun show with a lot of humour but one which also comments on an industry that values appearance over talent. The cast of 120 gave it their all, and they had plenty to give. They danced, sang and acted themselves into the hearts of all who were there.
This A3 print is made up of all the cast names, character names and song titles from the show. It's available at a special school price of €15. I hope it brings back great memories to all who were in it and worked on it for many years to come.
This word art print was designed by Susan Brambell, an Irish designer working and living in Co Wicklow. It's A3 in size and is sold rolled in a tube.
Framing notes:- The A3 is 420mm x 297 cm. It will fit into any IKEA frame or similar that has an opening of 30x40cm. If you choose one without a mount so that the whole glass is 30 x 40 you will need to trim a little off the top and bottom but there is room on the print to do that without affecting the design. If you choose one that has a mount in it and the mount opening is 30 x 40 you won't need to trim.
