Shakespeare's Words by The Word Bird
A must for any Shakespeare lover is a new print that shouldn't have taken me 7 years to do given I was an English teacher before starting The Word Bird. The number of words which Shakespeare contributed to the English language and was therefore the first to use is thought to be in and around 1700 - that includes his inventing new words, combining existing words, changing nouns to verbs, adding suffixes, etc. This print of 422 words is made up of the ones that scholars have proven he was the first to use by cross referencing his texts with other written texts from his era. Some have become obsolete but the majority are still in use today. We're all quoting the Bard every day.
A3 print of Shakespeare's Words is sold rolled for easy posting. Postage within Ireland is €5.00 and everywhere else is €6.50.
